I just got my call from my sailor in basic...
He sounded very tired and worn down but is doing alright. He got his wisdom teeth taken out and is recovering and he’s got a bit of a cold. He has been promoted to an R-POC in his division (the top leadership division for recruits) and has already passed his test to promote him to an E-2 after his PIR (Navy graduation). Because of his leadership role he doesn’t have to shovel snow...
